I design stickers and sell them on Etsy here.
I wrote and illustrated a children’s book titled “Dogs I have Loved”; you can purchase a copy on Amazon.
Ask me about fermentation. I make homemade kimchi, kraut, and kombucha; here is my favorite kimchi recipe.
Podcasts
Junglecasts: In March of 2005 I visited Chiapas, Mexico on the invitation of my friend Dave Pentecost. While there, we recorded several podcasts while romping around the jungle with Dr. Ed Barnhart, founded of the Mayan Exploration Center. The junglecasts have gathered quite a following, from Wired Magazine to BoingBoing.net, but far and away my favorite was the email we received from the Wilkes Land station in Antarctica thanking us for the blast of jungle via audio. Listen to the jungle here.
Talking to Pop: In 2010, I recorded a series of conversations with my late grandfather, Pete Davidson. He was born in Venice, California in 1923 but raised in Valley Center, California… which to this day is basically a gas station and liquor store. He left the ranch for World War II; his collected letters from his deployment in the Pacific are available on Amazon (“Bulldozing The Way: New Guinea To Japan”). From there his life took him all over the world. Listen to him talk about his life here.
Sundays with Jonas: In 2007, I recorded a series of conversations with my late father-in-law, Jonas Aarons, about his life (June 4, 1931 - August 31, 2010). He was an interesting character with many, many great stories to tell. Listen to some of those stories here.
